Donation Problems


Tobberz OWNER Posts: 1,379 Votes: +1,940 Level 13 LEVEL 13	So here is the thing. Tim just said he would shut the server down if he doesn't reach the right amount of donations by the end of the month. That would be truly tragic, so here are some ideas to get more donations. Some ideas are drastic/dumb, but its kinda desperate. Make non-donor chat grey and hard to see. Ban non-donors from speaking. (Sounds mega drastic, but yeah whatever. Not sure if it is EULA complaint tho). Give donors sparkle effects and stuff. If not enough money comes in, make the server only open to donors at certain times. (Would reduce players though). Add more content, but have a kickstarted of, let say 100 euro for that new content to be added. Not sure about this one... but: add AoW maps to Siege, making it a general siege server like conwy used to be. Any other ideas are welcome. I would insist that Tim at least implement some of these ideas - because if it is near the end, we may as well try. Suddenly, out of nowhere, a rock hits you. Tob, minecraft servers are suppose to be used for entertainment and to be social, not to get experience on how to live in a communist country or something like that.
