The Empire War v2 Rules The staff team has ultimate authority. This can override any of the other rules. If we believe a punishment is in order, it will carried out. We reserve the right to act without warning and use our own judgement to do what we believe is best. Justification is not required, however an appeal is the right of everyone who has been punished.
Always respect others.
Do not, under any circumstances, use a modified client which is designed to give you an advantage over other players.
Users of cheat clients will receive a promt and permanent ban.
If you are unsure if a client is allowed, ask a member of staff.
The following modifications are specifically allowed:
Minimaps with player, mob, item radar turned off
Optifine, MCPatcher and Shaders
Damage / Health indicators, which do not allow you to see players through walls
Do not bring Empire War into disrepute.
Do not purposefully betray your team by breaking barricades or placing them in places to hinder your team.
Do not evade a ban or mute. This is an extremely serious offence and will result in all of your accounts being banned or muted permanently.
Refrain from spawnkilling under all circumstances:
Entering a protected spawn area (these are obvious), and spawnkilling is strictly forbidden.
Blocking protected spawn areas with constructor wood is strictly forbidden.
Shooting into a protected spawn area is discouraged.
Spawncamping is not illegal.
Killing someone after they spawned in an unprotected area is strongly discouraged.
Do not, under any circumstances, abuse a bug that you may find. Report it to the staff if you believe there to be one - if we find out about it and catch you abusing it, punishment will be in order.
Never download maps off the server with a tool such as schematica. If we do not put a map up for download, it means we don't want it downloaded!
Avoid spamming as much as possible. This includes excessive capital letters.
Do not advertise on Empire War, and don't advertise Empire War on other servers. (See: Server Rules --> 3.)
Don't bug staff members for ranks, items, points or anything else of the sort. This does not include asking a staff member for a teleport for when you are stuck.
Avoid swearing, especially at other people. If you have a question about whether a word is offensive or not, contact a member of staff.
Avoid entering into arguments. Should they become heated:
Agree to disagree and drop it.
Contact a staff member to resolve it.
Take it to another medium and resolve it yourself.
Only use the English language in public chat or other LOTR related languages on any Empire War medium. This rule is exempt from private chats.
Never publically accuse someone of hacks. Report on forums or message a Moderator.

Not following one of these rules could mean a temp/perm ban!
Whilst most of these rules also count for the forums, it is very important to also read the Forum Rules if you want to make sure you use the forums without problems.
